How to Burn XGD3 Backups

First you Need the Right Burner:

To burn the latest Xbox 360 titles which are now on the XGD3 disc layout you will need a DVD burner compatible with iXtreme Burner Max firmware. Basically only a few drives currently support it. They are the Liteon iHas range (B Chipset), please note that not all Liteon iHas drives are compatible. You can buy them cheaply from Amazon online below, I have a link to the exact drive you need:
Recommend
£13.54
This will run iXtreme Burner Max firmware
Once you have bought this drive, you need to download the iXtreme Burner Max firmware pack (download here). Follow the instructions provided and be sure to use the firmware for your specific model of Liteon burner. Flashing the burner is a simple process and can be reversed if necessary, so take your time and don't worry.

Burn the XGD3 Discs Using IMGBurn:

Make sure you are using the latest version of IMGBurn (download here). Also be sure to go to IMGburn settings and enable Perform OPC and also Verify Against Image File (these are under the WRITE settings). Also remember to only burn at 4x max if your Disc ID (shown on right-hand side of IMGburn) is MKM003 or just 2.4x if Disc ID id MKM001.
Other than those settings, everything else will be done for you in the .dvd file made by ABGX so just burn the same way you always would ;)
